Who he was…

Moving ahead
Trying to break the clutter,
comes a man, not a prince,
who tries hard, falls and survives,
to get a look, that one look,
of whose praises travel with wind,
but he is mighty scared of the old tune,
that her love, will shift like a sand dune,
wait! His heart tells him again,
as a mental battle starts to give pain

And winds shift course…
Ha! He laughs at himself again,
He has fallen for those words before,
But the black magic has spun its web,
And he finds himself trapped instead,
For her mere charm will not last forever,
Because they were destined to meet never…

The final act
The world applauded her poetry,
Gave a standing ovation to her verse so feathery,
Amongst those stood a man quiet and dark,
Who silently clapped to the superstar,
Nor was he a knight, nor a king,
He silently wept, O! Poor thing.

Epilogue

He never dreamt a superficial dream,
His thought, like an unbroken seam,
Rode faster than the knight,
Ruled farther than the king,
But alas that was the world,
If the world only new, who he was

They were destined to meet never…
